1970 C10 shortbed C 10 For Sale!

1970 C10 pro touring / track /show truck. I purchased the truck because it was freshly repainted. I torn the truck down. Stripped the frame down, repainted and installed a completely new suspension system from Ride Tech. System Included front & rear HQ Series Coil Overs, front upper & lower Strongarms, rear Strongarms, 2″ Drop Spindles and front Muscle Bar. Installed a Wildwood big brake kit with 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers in rear, slotted disk where purchased to help them cool down on the track days. Had some custom rims painted from America Racing to fit the monster 355/45/ 20 tires we installed in the back and with 245/45/18 in front.

Had to install wider wheel tubs in the bed but custom fit to make look original. Purchased a LS3 and added a big cam and springs. Also had heads port and polished at Beck Race Engines. Mated the motor up to a tr 6060 6 speed. We relocate shifter forward using Hawks shifter kit. Had rear axle shorted to accommodate the big tires and installed an Eaton posi-trac limited slip 411 geared rear-end.

Had custom made axles hardened to handle the power this beast makes. Yes, we are getting 469 HP to the street. To fit the track truck theme, we built a roll cage with built in seat supports. I purchased some cool American billet hood hinges and matched the shifter to the hood hinges and was talked in to added a hand brake (17 yr old son) which now matches shifter. “Wouldn’t it be cool “is the worst phrase you can hear while building a car or truck. We decided the paint wasn’t good enough and we need to relocate the gas filler and add the front roll pan so off to the paint shop. Sanded it down fixed the few dings and they laid down an awesome Gun metal metallic gray with 3 different pearls in it. (K3 paint code) With the outside looking so good we decided to add some engine dress up panels that we anodized black and painted the engine cover and hood panels the body color. Added Wildwood brake and clutch pedals along Wildwood master cylinder and clutch cylinder and a hydro boost brake system. New Ididit steering column with custom steering wheel. Was talked in to flush mount windshield front and rear from Fessler along with one-piece power side glass. Added billet grill insert to our custom painted grill. Cut side exhaust in front of rear wheels and add powder coated benzyl to go along with the custom ceramic coated exhaust system. New oil cooler and tranny cooler, fit nicely with the Arctic cat aluminum radiator and dual fan system. We purchased two Courbeau racing seats and red 4-point harnesses. My interior / stereo guy went over the top with the Rockford fosgate system he installed in custom sub and amp boxes and slick kicker panels. The center console has cool lighted switches which control the hidden license plate or set the line lock for the front wheels so it makes it easy to do those awesome shifting burn outs. The carpet was custom fit around the roll bar and tranny hump. We finished the truck off with a custom removable aluminum taunno cover which we wrapped with black brushed metallic film. Oh yes it has Vintage air system. So, we call the truck confused because it is built for the track but is dressed to show. Whether going to a show or the track this truck won’t disappoint.
