Ah, the Charger. It’s an impressive muscle car that can also be your everyday driver. For 2019 it’s even cooler thanks to some sweet updates. Dodge announced its 2019 Charger line a few weeks ago, and with six distinct models ready for production, the Charger is poised to dominate the American muscle car market for another year.

The 2019 Dodge Charger features models that provide you with efficiency (GT), capability (SRT AWD) and more power than you could ever imagine (SRT Hellcat). All of these models feature the distinct Charger look and brawn to allow you to dominate the road.

NEW FOR 2019
Two new Charger models are to be released for 2019, adding new dynamics to the Charger line. The first is the Charger GT. This rear-wheel-drive vehicle prominently features the award-winning Pentastar V-6 engine. The V6 delivers up to 300 horsepower and 30 MPG, an excellent rating for a car tailor-made for performance. Additionally, the GT highlights all-new aesthetics, including a performance hood with air induction, a styled front face and new seats.

The Charger SRT AWD is new for 2019 as well. The SRT AWD is the first all-wheel-drive model to be introduced in the Charger line and also utilizes the Pentastar V-6 engine. It has the same performance and efficiency as the GT, but with slight improvements thanks to the AWD system.

RETURNING
These two new models are going to be highly anticipated, but nothing tops the Charger SRT Hellcat. The Hellcat returns this fall as the quickest, fastest and most powerful vehicle in its segment in the world thanks to its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine. It provides 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. With stylistic improvements, such as a new performance grill, the 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat is one of the coolest cars out there.

Rounding up the lineup for the 2019 Charger are the R/T, R/T Scat Pack and SXT. All three models feature strong performance and stunning exteriors. The R/T Scat Pack has the second-strongest performance stats in the lineup. The SXT, contrastingly, is an affordable option featuring the same Pentastar V6 as the GT and SRT AWD and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This provides outstanding performance.

It is clear that no matter which model of the 2019 Dodge Charger you choose, you’ll be driving a wicked American-made muscle car.
